Project Title: Client Media Management System

Project Description:
The Client Media Management Project is in the process of designing and developing a custom solution for Client Media Management with our client. The solution will be implemented within our clients current technical environment which utilizes the following for custom developed applications

• Microsoft Visual Basic 6
• Microsoft Visual Interdev
• ASP (HTML, VBSCRIPT Javascript)
• COM/DCOM
• Oracle 8i/9i
• Microsoft Internet Information Server
• Microsoft Internet Explorer.
• Cognos ReportNet
• Microsoft Windows XP
• Microsoft Win 2003 server

Description of Duties/Scope of Work:
The Scope of Work for the project is divided along the remaining phases of the Client Media Management project and other development projects:

Development
1. Development utilizing ASP in Microsoft Interdev, Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, COM, HTML under MS Internet Information Server running on Win 2003 server and using Oracle 8i/9i as a database management system
2. Develop Programming specifications
3.Develop designated portions of the Client Media application in Microsoft Visual Studio 6 using ASP, Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, COM, HTML in an MS Internet Information Server running n Win 2003 Server and Oracle 9i as a database management system
4. Perform unit testing on any code that is created
5. Documentation of all modules developed

QA and Testing Phase
1. Troubleshoot and debug errors identified with the Clients Media Application identified by the Quality Assurance team.
2. Correct errors identified in the QA and testing phases
3. Unit test program modifications

Production Implementation Phase
- Provide application support during the warranty period after the production implementation and rollout.

Special Skills/Certification Required:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. Must be able to work in a fast–paced team environment.
3. Ability to “hit the ground running”.
4. Must have broad experience with financial systems and with inventory / order entry systems.
5. Experience in programming solutions for Microsoft Visual Basic 6, COM/DCOM, ASP using Visual Interdev, Oracle 8i/9i, MS Internet Information Server, and Microsoft Internet Explorer based technologies, HTML.
6. Minimum 5 years development experience
7. Microsoft MCSD utilizing ASP and VB would be an asset

Deliverables:
Development
1. Clients Media Application Programming Specifications
2. Designated modules of the Clients Media Application

Quality Assurance Phase
1. Troubleshoot and debug errors as identified by QA team
2. Correct errors identified in Quality Assurance Phase
3. Perform Unit Testing.

Production Implementation Phase
1.Provide application support during the final production implementation rollout for the application.
2.Assist in the handover of the application to our clients operational support staff during the production phase.
