TANGIBLE RESULTS / DELIVERABLES:

The consultant will:
" Perform an environmental scan of existing Secure identification Card
systems within the Ontario Government and the greater public sector;
" Perform an environmental scan of existing licensing systems within
the Ontario Government and the greater public sector;
" Make a final recommendation on best solution;
" Have knowledge of Identification Card systems;
" Have Knowledge of security issues surrounding card systems;
" Be able to do research and reports based on the research;
" Be using presentation skills to present finding to team and senior
management;
" Have excellent analytical skills;
" Be involved in report writing;
" Work closely with other team members;
" Provide consulting expertise and guidance, to other team members;
" Be asked to base their recommendations criteria, to be specified upon
their commencement;
" Liaise with vendors and other Ministries to acquire information of
Licensing systems and Secure Identification Card systems;
" Prepare a contact list with respect to research done. This list
should include vendors who the consultant spoke to with the name,
address phone number and key contact information;
" Provide a draft Environmental Scan of existing Secure Identification
Card systems within the OPS, other provincial jurisdictions and the
private sector;
" Present the draft report to JTS/PISG staff for comment and feedback;
" Undertake an assessment of the findings from the Environmental Scan,
provide options with high level costing, a recommendation and a high
level implementation strategy with a time frame;
" Prepare final report;
" Prepare and make presentations to senior management on findings;
" Analyses, defines, recommends & implements appropriate security
policies, procedures and technologies for any tech features of
computing environment within the provincial government.
